Samiksha

Paste a draft advertisement or attach the poster.

Samiksha shows which Indian laws and NMC clauses it touches, in each law's own words, so you can fix it before it goes out.

164 provisions in force, every one held verbatim. Only provisions in force on the day of the review are used.

Do not paste patient names, phone numbers or other identifying details. If you are checking a testimonial, replace the patient's name with a placeholder first. Everything you submit is stored in the review log.

A clinic signboard and a roadside hoarding are reviewed differently.

Who is publishing

NMC duties differ for a doctor's own post and a clinic's post.

A few facts only you know (makes the review more accurate)

Paid placement can turn a factual notice into solicitation.

Was any image, video, voice or text made or materially changed by AI?
If this is a hoarding, is the site let out by a municipal, transport, railway or airport authority?
Is the agency, influencer or platform paid per patient, per lead or per booking?
Does this mention an award or ranking? If so, do you know who gave it and on what method?
Does the advertisement show the doctor's state or national medical council registration number?
Is this part of a Government of India or state government programme campaign?
Samiksha is a screening and review tool, not legal advice. No output is a clearance to publish. Every review needs human approval.

New: now checks the NMC Guidelines of 6 October 2026. What changed

New, 6 October 2026

What changed on 6 October, and is your advertising ready?

NMC has issued Guidelines on Ethical Advertising for doctors and hospitals, in force immediately.

Samiksha now checks every advertisement against them, clause by clause, and shows you the clause in NMC's own words. They cover patient testimonials on social media, before-and-after images, success rates, "No.1" and "best" claims, discounts and free offers, roadside hoardings, the doctor's registration number on posts, and AI-generated content. There is no grace period: content already published is judged from 6 October.

Using AI to make content? Label it clearly as AI-generated, never use AI to show a patient, a baby, a result or a testimonial, and do not run AI-made material as a paid campaign. Clause 7.2 is unclear on its face, and that is the course that is safe under either reading.

Who built this and why

I am not a lawyer. I am an entrepreneur, and I built Samiksha to help myself and anyone else who needs the same guidance.

Samiksha does not tell you what the law allows. It shows you which published provision your words touch, in that provision's own words, with its clause number and the date it came into force, so you can decide. Where the decision matters, take it to your lawyer.
